ONU Upgrade Remotly
- Upload ONU upgrade software version to OLT temporary storage
- Download ONU upgrade software version to ONU
- Confirm the Software Version of ONU would be used to upgrade
- Rebootthe ONU to complete the remote upgrade.

Delete the stored ONU version in the OLT

Update the ONU version. Manual upgrade can only update the ONU whose operating status is operational. During the upgrade process make surethe ONU status keep normal:

Support simultaneous upgrade of single or multiple ONUs under the same PON port.

Viewthe upgrade status.
There are three update statuses: downloading, ONU writing disk, and update success.

After the ONU software upgrade is downloaded and the ONU upgrade status is updated. One can issue the commit command to confirm that the ONU uses the upgraded software version:

When the ONU upgrade status is commit success, the activate command can be issued and the ONU will automatically restart:
OLT# cpe activate gpon-olt1/1 onu-range 1 3 5-7
After the upgrade is complete, the ONU re-authentication becomes an operational state. One can use the command to view that the current version of the ONU has been updated
In the ONU upgrade process, one can use the abort command to terminate the current upgrade ONU operation before the commit operation.

Isolation Function of PON port
The ONU isolation function of the PON port can be disabled for the customer’s needsso that the services of the same VLAN between the ONUs under the PON port can communicate with each
other. When ONUs in multiple PON ports need to implement service interworking, the corresponding PON port needs to be disabled. The port isolation feature is enabled by default.
